4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), hosted in Google's secure cloud infrastructure. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
5. Account Deletion
You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly within the PalQBank app — no need to contact us:
- Sign in to the PalQBank app
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm by tapping "Delete Permanently"
Upon deletion, we permanently remove your:
- Firebase Authentication account
- Firestore user profile and enrollment records

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
7. Children's Privacy
PalQBank is intended for use by medical students and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, and encrypted data transport (HTTPS/TLS) to protect your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
